 This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved  daughter & sister Tanesha Marie Jones who was born on June 19, 1991 and passed away on January 14, 2005 at the age of 13. We will love   and remember her forever.  Tanesha is the daughter of Walter &   Charlene Jones.  Tanesha has two brothers Walter, III  age 25 and   Brian age 22.  Tanesha was our pride & joy and taken from us much too soon.  Tanesha was diagnoised with Wilms Tumor in September of 2002. (Wilm's is a cancerous solid tumor that grows out of the kidney).  Tanesha went thru many rounds of Chemo Therapy, radiation and surgery to remove the tumor.  With everything my brave little girl was going   thru she always kept a smile on her face and looked  for ways to put  smiles on the face of others.  Although Tanesha was dealing with cancer she never wanted to be treated as if she was sick.  She would always    tell me that she wanted to be treated like any other normal child.    During her treatments Tanesha ran track in school, she also ran track  for her Church and just continually amazed us with her energy and   spirit.  When people met Tanesha they had no idea that she was dealing with cancer, the only way people knew was if she would tell them of her illness. I know if Tanesha had the chance she would have been one of    those amazing people who would have made an enormous difference in  this world.  I say this because Tanesha touched everyone she met in a   special way.  I will always love you and I miss you so very very much my darling daughter and look forward to the day when we will meet again in the next life (Mommy).
